Chris Petrie is a passionate advocate of art therapy as a means towards healing and self-expression. His journey began with a deep love for art, which led him to become an art teacher, graphic designer and artist. He realised the therapeutic potential of art and pursued a Master's Degree in Therapeutic Arts Practice.
As a professionally qualified and registered Creative Arts Therapist and NDIS Provider, Chris founded UpBeat Creative Arts Therapy, known as 'UpBeat CAT.' He believes that art serves as a powerful, non-verbal language for healing and personal exploration for all people and all ages. Through UpBeat CAT, Chris guides individuals on a journey, helping them improve their mental and emotional well-being, boost self-confidence, and nurture self-esteem.
